Desktop GUI Proposal
This week I have been working on the GUI for the Desktop App. As per the specification in the Requirements Specification document, I have designed this GUI to enable simple and quick creation of new lists and pubs for those lists.
It consists of three main windows:
- Main Menu/ Start-up Menu.
- List Viewer to view all pubs in a specific town.
- Pub Listing Editor to both enter new pubs and to edit any existing pub.
And two pop-up windows:
- List Selector which provides a drop down of all available lists.
- New List Creator which asks for a name to identify a new list.
This GUI was constructed specifically to meet the specifications FRD1-7. FRD5 has been expanded upon by the addition of storage for both opening hours and addresses, which we feel are important to identify pubs and to properly inform the users.
